Fprd is putting a lot of energy into its Lincoln brand, and that investment is paying off in a strong new model lineup. The 2016 Lincoln MKX crossover is a great example. Auto critic Tom Voelk, recently reviewed the MKX for The New York Times/ Click "play" in the video clip below to watch the full report.
A 3.7-liter V6 is standard, but the 2.7-liter V6 with twin turbos is the way to go, says the Times' Voelk, producing 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. And it uses standard grade gas. The turbo motor whispers from 0 to 60 miles an hour in about six seconds.
Voelk also points out that, added to the available luxury features of a "killer" Revel sound system, heated steering wheel and supportive vented seats, is a massage feature for the front chairs strong enough to give a masseuse pause.
