“(As DJs) you have to read the audience. For a great party, it’s always about reading your audience and knowing where you’re at and who you’re playing to. I don’t think we ever really go into a party to DJ with a strict set that says, we’re playing this, no matter what happens. Because as you see people reacting to different songs, that’s going to dictate what direction you’re going in because you’re (connecting) with those people.”
So says Geordon Nicol, who, along with Leigh Lezark, makes up The Misshapes, a DJ collective. The two are the subject of a recent Lincoln Now piece called "Field Notes," which recounts the duo's background, their travel experiences, and more.
If the words "new Lincoln models" are music to your ears, come out to David McDavid's Plano Lincoln at 3333 W. Plano Parkway and take a test drive.
